• PFEANE/GEANE and the Industry Betterment Fund Trustees Encourage Educational Training for All Contributing Contractors in the Industry. The trustees of the Industry Betterment Fund in cooperation with the painting and glazing associations recently announced incentives for employers to educate their workforce. This year there are educational sessions planned for an OSHA 30 Hour Training Course, Immigration Law seminar addressing hiring practices for signatory contractors and a Supervisory Training Program for foreman and superintendants. The Trustees also recognize the need for employers to train their workers in industry specific topics that focus on a company’s particular needs. The object of the program is to educate and train our workforce to be the most competent, productive and efficient in the construction industry. • Association Meetings Keep apprised of industry issues and network with fellow contractors at our meetings.

Contractors signatory to District Council #35 are encouraged to join the Association, however as contributors to the industry fund, there are still benefits available to non-members.

•  At the Annual Board of Directors meeting the Industry Betterment Trustees voted that the Reimbursement Policies for all contributing employers will remain consistent with last year.  If you have any questions, please contact the Association office.
